Gokongwei-led airline Cebu Pacific is launching direct flights from Manila to Chiang Mai, starting Oct. 29, 2024, operating three times weekly.
This new route is the carrier’s fourth in Thailand, joining existing routes to Bangkok.
“We share the anticipation of many Filipino travelers as we prepare to launch the only direct flights between Manila and Chiang Mai. This new route will provide our passengers the opportunity to explore Thailand beyond its urban attractions,” Cebu Pacific CEO Xander Lao said in a statement on Thursday.
“Chiang Mai’s natural heritage, ancient temples, and laid-back atmosphere promise a tranquil escape for every Juan,” he added.
To celebrate, from Aug. 1-6, 2024, travellers can book one-way base fares for just P1, for travel from Oct. 29, 2024, to March 30, 2025.
This makes exploring Chiang Mai’s attractions like Doi Inthanon National Park and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep more affordable, the carrier noted.
