The new M5 and M5 Touring showcase a distinctive, athletic design that sets them apart from the standard BMW 5 Series. Key design elements include prominent wheel arch and side skirt extensions, a sculptural front apron, and an embossed "M5" logo on the C-pillar. The M5 Sedan also gets an M Carbon exterior package.

The M HYBRID system in the M5 models leverages technology similar to BMW’s M Hybrid V8 endurance racing machine, ensuring instant power delivery and intelligent interplay between the combustion engine and electric motor. The electric motor enables speeds up to 140 km/h in all-electric mode, with a usable energy capacity of 18.6 kWh, offering an electric range of up to 69 km for the M5 Sedan and 67 km for the M5 Touring in the WLTP cycle.
Between the lines:
The advanced M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, with its rear-biased setup and optional 2WD mode, allows drivers to tailor the car's dynamics. The sophisticated chassis technology, including adaptive M suspension and Integral Active Steering, further enhances agility and precision.
The interior:
Inside, both models offer a luxurious cabin with M-specific features, including M multifunction seats, the BMW Widescreen Display with M-specific content, and an upgraded BMW iDrive based on Operating System 8.5. Standard amenities include Merino leather trim, a Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System, and a panoramic glass sunroof for the Touring model.
Price tag:
Both models of the all-new BMW M5 retail for P12.79 million each. It comes with a portable flexi charger, a 5-year comprehensive BMW warranty (or 200,000km), and an 8-year warranty for the electric battery (or 120,000km).
