Cebu Pacific will restart direct flights between Iloilo and Hong Kong on Oct. 27 this year, saving travellers up to nine hours compared to connecting flights via Manila.
Flights from Iloilo to Hong Kong will operate four times weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Return flights from Hong Kong to Iloilo will also run four times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
“With the resumption of flights to Hong Kong, Cebu will be the only airline to operate international flights from Iloilo,” Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific chief marketing and customer experience officer, said in a statement.
“We hope this will also make air travel even more affordable and accessible for a wider range of passengers in the Visayas region,” she added.
Passengers can also save up to 20 percent on round-trip fares with the direct flights. From July 26 to 31, 2024, Cebu is offering a special P1 one-way base fare for travel from Oct. 27, 2024, to March 29, 2025.
