The recognition, based on the 2024 ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) and Corporate Governance Scorecard results, highlights ABS-CBN’s strong compliance with both local and international governance standards.
ABS-CBN corporate secretary Atty. Eric Quiason, along with senior treasury and investor relations officer Melanie Teodoro and treasury and investor relations officer Marvin Payumo, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
The Golden Arrow Award is granted to companies that score at least 75 in the ACGS assessment, which measures shareholder rights, stakeholder relations, sustainability, transparency, and board effectiveness.
The ICD said the ACGS “aims to raise the country’s corporate governance standards and practices and make well-governed Philippine publicly listed and insurance companies attractive to investors.”
This sixth Golden Arrow win underscores ABS-CBN’s enduring commitment to accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership as it continues to navigate the evolving media landscape.
