The recognition, presented during the recent Golden Arrow Awards, underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and robust governance practices.
“This award reflects the Jollibee Group’s dedication to doing business the right way—responsibly, transparently, and with integrity. It affirms our commitment to corporate governance and sustainability as we strive to become one of the world’s top five restaurant companies,” said Jollibee Group Global chief legal, ethics, and compliance officer Atty. Valerie Feria Amante.
The award is based on the Asean Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), which evaluates publicly listed companies on principles like shareholder rights, equitable stakeholder treatment, transparency, and the board’s strategic oversight. Companies scoring 80 points or higher earn the Golden Arrow, signifying adherence to the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and global best practices.
The ACGS aims to elevate governance standards, attracting long-term investments and enhancing trust in Philippine corporations.
