Insider Spotlight
Built by Aboitiz Economic Estates, the Hub focuses on training, upskilling, and linking Batangueños to high-value employment—fueling the rapid growth of IT and creative industries at LIMA Tower One.
“Talent is at the core of every successful enterprise,” Clifford Academia, vice president for operations at Aboitiz Economic Estates, said in a press release on Oct.15, 2025.
“The Talent Edge Hub and our partnership with Batangas State University ensure that our locators at LIMA have access to skilled professionals who are capable, committed, and deeply rooted in the community.”
Acting as a bridge between academe and industry, the Talent Edge Hub aligns educational pathways with real business needs. Its programs aim to make graduates globally competitive, helping companies tap into Batangas’ 1.43 million-strong workforce while offering young professionals opportunities closer to home.
“Batangas is home to a deep and diverse talent base that’s ready for the opportunities coming its way,” said Monica Trajano, vice president for commercial strategy at Aboitiz Economic Estates. “Through LIMA Tower One, we’re seeing how a well-prepared workforce, coupled with the right environment, can redefine where and how companies choose to grow.”
This vision will be reinforced by the upcoming Batangas State University–LIMA Campus, which will anchor industry-based education within the estate and prepare students for future jobs.
Shaping a new center
The Talent Edge Hub complements the rise of LIMA Tower One, Batangas’ first premium PEZA-registered office building. Global firms like Conduent and Revolve have chosen the site for its talent pool, strategic location, and infrastructure.
By connecting education, enterprise, and opportunity, the Talent Edge Hub is helping Batangas emerge as the country’s next innovation hub, where talent and business grow side by side. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
