The award, presented by the Asian Business Review, recognizes the bank’s innovative approach to boosting operational efficiency and enhancing data management through cutting-edge technology.
The ceremony took place on Sept. 5, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand.
Launched in December 2023, the ODP enables the seamless transfer of data, providing customers with timely information across multiple channels, including new apps.
The platform leverages advanced technologies like data streaming and change data capture (CDC) to facilitate hyper-personalization and streamlined data management.
Lucose Eralil, executive vice president and COO of Security Bank, said in a statement: “ODP is a revolutionary event-streaming architecture that empowers the bank to quickly integrate real-time data, perform stream analytics, and more. It allows data to be accessed, transferred, and utilized in various ways, enabling near-real-time data visualization, high-performing systems, and agile, real-time contextual personalization.”
Built on four key principles—scalability, resilience, elasticity, and autonomy—the ODP also boosts operational efficiency by reducing traffic from legacy systems and integrating data. This architecture allows the bank to develop new customer experiences faster, using fewer resources.
Looking forward, Security Bank plans to harness the power of real-time analytics, machine learning, and AI through the ODP, while collaborating with industry partners to further accelerate digital transformation and drive sustainable growth.
