Gokongwei Group companies shine in Fortune Southeast Asia 500

Two Gokongwei Group giants have made their debut in the inaugural Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking for 2024, a new list showcasing the region’s largest companies by revenue for the past year.

The family conglomerate JG Summit Holdings Inc. (JG Summit) secured the 55th spot on the list of Southeast Asia's top 500 companies, reporting a substantial revenue of $5.93 billion. 

Robinsons Retail Holdings placed 105th with reported revenues of $3.46 billion.

Regional impact 

JG Summit and Robinsons Retail were among the 38 Philippine companies which made the list from seven Southeast Asian nations. 

The inclusion of two Gokongwei Group conglomerates in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 highlights their impact on economic growth in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
