The Soberano family's Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) has launched its first solar-integrated housing community in General Santos City, selling 85 percent of units within just three days and racking up P4.3 billion in reservation sales.

The 21-hectare project, Casa Mira Homes GenSan, is the 18th development under CLI’s flagship affordable housing brand and the first to feature built-in solar solutions.

Located in Barangay Lagao, the master-planned community offers 1,218 single-detached and townhouse units, with several models fitted with 2.2 kW solar panels capable of storing up to 5 kWh of power.

This can reduce monthly household electricity costs by an estimated P600 to P3,000, according to CLI. Other eco-friendly features include natural lighting, rainwater storage tanks, and water-saving fixtures.

“We’re truly grateful for how warmly the GenSan market has embraced this sustainable concept,” said Jose Soberano III, chair and CEO of Cebu Landmasters.

“It reflects how today’s Filipino families are becoming more mindful, not just about owning a home, but about making smarter, greener choices that benefit both their finances and the environment. Casa Mira Homes GenSan captures our vision of giving more to Filipino families by making sustainability affordable and accessible at the community level," he added.

Casa Mira GenSan also dedicates 60 percent of the site to open spaces, offering residents amenities such as swimming pools, a clubhouse, and a sports court.
