What makes a top employer?
The ranking, compiled by TIME and global data firm Statista, covered 500 companies across Asia-Pacific based on employee satisfaction surveys conducted from 2024 to 2026.
Unlike rankings based on revenue, profitability or market value, the study focused on employees' assessment of their workplaces, offering another perspective on how companies compete for talent.
The results showed that some of the Philippines' biggest and longest-established corporations remain competitive in attracting employee approval alongside international companies.
Global technology firms dominate
American semiconductor equipment maker KLA topped the regional ranking with a perfect score of 100, followed by JPMorganChase, Canva, Microsoft and Sony Corp.
LEGO, Toyota Group, Nintendo, Google's parent Alphabet and financial technology company Wise completed the top 10, reflecting the strong presence of technology, banking and global consumer brands.
The rankings come as employers across Asia-Pacific grapple with changing workforce demands and the growing impact of artificial intelligence on jobs and career opportunities.
