ING Hubs Philippines has experienced rapid expansion, with its workforce growing 31 percent in just a year, reaching nearly 6,000 employees in 2024—a clear signal of its capacity to sustain growth moving forward.

Established in 2013, the Philippine unit of the Netherlands-based banking giant ING provides services to 40 countries, including retail and wholesale banking, IT, and risk management.

Exponential growth

From 1,900 employees in 2020, the hub has scaled to meet the increasing global demand for its services, now supporting customers across 40 countries.

“Looking ahead, ING Hubs Philippines is set to sustain its momentum as one of the largest capability hubs in the region,” the company said in a statement.

“The hub’s ongoing expansion will continue to fuel ING’s global growth, contributing to the bank’s broader mission of driving economic, social, and environmental progress,” it added.

Management’s view

“Our continued focus on talent development, operational excellence, and business transformation is essential to supporting ING’s global expansion and making a positive impact in the communities we serve,” said ING Hubs Philippines’ country manager Hazel Delos Santos.

“It’s about setting new standards in banking innovation and empowering Filipino talents to create a lasting impact on a global stage,” she added.
