SM Hotels & Conventions Corp. (SMHCC) celebrated a landmark moment at the 2025 World Travel Awards Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony in Hong Kong, as two of its flagship properties—Conrad Manila and Lanson Place Mall of Asia, Manila—took home top honors that underscore the Philippines’ growing influence in the global hospitality scene.

Conrad Manila secured its seventh consecutive win as the Philippines’ Leading Conference Hotel.”

The property’s contemporary design, personalized concierge service, and seamless event execution have made it a top choice for international travelers seeking sophistication and efficiency, SM Hotels said in a press release.

“Each venue is thoughtfully designed to accommodate a range of business gatherings,” it added. 

A newcomer’s breakthrough

Meanwhile, Lanson Place Mall of Asia, Manila earned its first-ever World Travel Award as the “Philippines’ Leading Hotel Residences 2025.”

With 247 hotel rooms and 140 serviced residences, the property blends luxury and comfort for both short- and long-term guests.

Amenities such as a rooftop infinity pool, fitness center, and multiple dining outlets—including Cyan Modern Kitchen and EDGE Pool Bar—highlight its upscale yet home-like experience.
