Megaworld Corp. is changing things up as it pioneers the immersive showroom, which integrates technology and visuals to redefine how clients experience its array of projects.
The developer recently launched the Megaworld Leisure Showroom on the ground floor of the Eighty One Mall in Newport City, Pasay.
The venue features the usual showroom amenities, including a bar and dining area where clients can enjoy a variety of snacks and beverages.
Virtual tours
But the highlight is its three interactive rooms, called “Phases”.
These areas are equipped with surround-sound systems and state-of-the-art overhead projectors, which beam floor-to-ceiling visuals of the company’s projects.
So far, the showrooms feature Megaworld’s resort-themed townships: the 150-hectare Boracay Newcoast in Malay, Aklan; the 462-hectare Paragua Coastown in San Vicente, Palawan; and soon the 150-hectare Lialto Beach and Golf Estates in Lian, Batangas.
Bringing destinations to the clients
“We are proud to be in some of the country’s most beautiful tourism destinations, and we want to showcase these landscapes to our clients to give them an idea of the excitement waiting for them in our developments,” said Javier Romeo Abustan, head of sales and marketing, Megaworld Platinum.
“Since people cannot visit these locations right away, we thought why not bring the destinations to them instead? That’s the big ‘what if’ question that we had when we were conceptualizing the Megaworld Leisure Showroom,” he added.
Project familiarization
Many of their visitors so far are walk-ins from nearby Newport World Resorts hotels. While closing condo sales is important, it’s equally crucial to introduce guests to Megaworld’s extensive property portfolio.
Another advantage is the company’s ability to be more agile in redesigning these rooms.
“More importantly, this also gives us a more sustainable way of presenting our projects to our clients because we can easily change the look of our spaces, unlike typical property showrooms where it takes quite some time for model units, for example, to be updated or spruced up,” he said.
