D&L Industries, a leading manufacturer of food ingredients and industrial chemicals, has been recognized by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) for the 5th year in a row for its strong corporate governance, based on the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS).

The ACGS evaluates companies on shareholder rights, stakeholder engagement, transparency, and board accountability.

ICD, a non-profit, promotes good governance to drive sustainable development in the Philippines.

“We are deeply honored to receive such prestigious recognition from the ICD,” D&L president and CEO Alvin Lao said in a statement.

“This year, we received a two-arrow recognition, an improvement from last year’s one-arrow recognition which signifies our constant pursuit to be better as an organization,” he said.

“At D&L, we see the value of maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance. We believe it is the cornerstone of building a sustainable and enduring organization,” he added.
