Insider Spotlight
The company’s people-focused strategy gained further validation after Eastern was certified as a Great Place To Work for the third consecutive year. It also received separate recognition for employer branding and employee engagement in 2026.
Closer collaboration
Eastern’s transformation depends on employees who can keep pace with rapid changes in enterprise technology. Its portfolio now covers connectivity, network services, cybersecurity, cloud and data center solutions, and business applications.
The diversification reflects how telecommunications providers are moving beyond basic connectivity to become integrated technology partners. This requires technical expertise as well as closer collaboration among teams serving businesses and communities.
Empowered employees
Eastern is applying its “High Tech, High Touch” philosophy not only to customer service but also to its employee experience. The company provides opportunities for learning, collaboration, recognition and engagement as workers develop new capabilities.
“Our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a company that connects businesses and communities through technology, we also believe in creating an environment where our own people feel connected, valued, and empowered to grow,” Eastern Communications co-coordinator Atty. Aileen Regio said in a press statement.
'Dare to soar' campaign
The workplace initiatives support Eastern’s “Dare to Soar” campaign, which encourages employees to adopt emerging technologies, work across teams and identify new ways to serve customers.
The strategy links workforce development directly to the company’s ability to innovate and sustain its evolution as a telecommunications and ICT solutions provider.
“Dare to Soar starts within. We want our people to see Eastern not only as a place where they work, but as a place where they can learn, contribute, and pursue what they are capable of,” Eastern Communications co-coordinator Jaeson Evangelista said. -—Vanessa Hidalgo| Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
