Insider Spotlight
The financial technology platform is marking its 22nd anniversary with a nationwide customer rewards campaign offering discounted meals, free transportation, and transaction-based prizes until Oct. 31.
The initiative connects everyday spending with digital financial services, encouraging customers to use GCash for transportation, food purchases, remittances, and other transactions.
The campaign follows three Filipino birthday traditions: pakain, palibre, and pamigay, bringing promotional offers to participating businesses across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Supporting customer engagement
GCash operates a digital payments ecosystem covering more than six million partner merchants and social sellers. Its services include money transfers, bill payments, savings, loans, insurance, and investments.
The anniversary campaign provides additional opportunities to encourage transactions across these services while supporting customer engagement.
GCash users can access P10 chicken meal offers at selected KFC, Chooks to Go, Andok's, and Baliwag outlets until Oct. 31.
Customers must claim vouchers through the GCash app and complete purchases using Scan to Pay at participating branches.
Meanwhile, MRT-3 commuters can enjoy free rides until Oct. 23 using Commute QR, Tap-to-Pay, or GCash Visa Card.
Users must maintain a minimum P14 balance, which is deducted upon entry and refunded after exiting.
More incentives
Customers completing eligible transactions through the GBirthday feature can receive instant credits worth P10, P50, or P100.
They can also qualify for raffle prizes, including up to P100,000 in GCash credits and 100 Yamaha YTX 125 motorcycles with complimentary GInsure coverage.
