The law firm led by University of Santo Tomas law dean Nilo Divina brought holiday cheer to the elderly residents of Bahay Kanlungan ni Maria Domenica in Antipolo City during its annual Christmas gift-giving event last Friday, Dec. 27, 2024.

During the event, DivinaLaw reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the home for elderly women and persons with disabilities.

According to a post on the law firm’s official Facebook page, last week’s event marked DivinaLaw’s third Christmas visit to the facility, which has cared for abandoned and destitute elderly women since 1998. The home currently houses 40 residents.

During the event, Atty. Divina shared heartfelt words, drawing a personal connection between the residents and his late mother, whose sacrifices shaped his success.

In addition to providing gifts, Atty. Divina pledged to visit the home every year and grant the wishes of three selected residents starting next December — underscoring the firm’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community and spread holiday joy to those in need. — Ed: DLL
