The Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project now provides safe, surface-based water to over one million Dabawenyos daily, reducing the city’s dependence on groundwater and laying the foundation for long-term sustainability.
Since 2022, new water connections have jumped from 8,600 to more than 21,000, bringing 24/7 supply to areas like Cabantian and Panacan, once plagued by frequent outages.
Recent data shows 95 percent of customers now enjoy continuous service, with satisfaction reaching 99.9 percent in formerly underserved areas.
Apo Agua is also leading reforestation and community efforts to protect the Panigan-Tamugan Watershed, the city’s critical water source.
The project shows how private-public collaboration can deliver lasting impact and protect natural resources while improving lives.
