For more than a year, Ascott Makati has sourced 100 percent of its electricity requirements from renewable energy, reinforcing its commitment to responsible hospitality and environmental stewardship.

The initiative supports CapitaLand's Net Zero Carbon 2050 vision and has enabled the property to reduce its carbon emissions by 100 percent. Ascott Makati has also installed electric vehicle charging stations to support greener transportation options for guests.

By transitioning to renewable energy, the property said it is contributing to a more sustainable future while minimizing its environmental footprint.

Ascott Makati has also strengthened its commitment to inclusivity after earning a 2 Crescent Rating from CrescentRating, a globally recognized authority on Muslim-friendly travel.

The accreditation signifies that the property is equipped to support Muslim guests by providing guidance on the Qibla direction and information on nearby halal-certified dining options, grocery stores, and healthcare facilities.
