8990 Holdings, QC partner to provide homes for gov’t workers, informal settlers

Listed mass housing developer 8990 Housing Development Corp. and the Quezon City government have signed a memorandum of agreement to deliver 2,699 housing units to Quezon City government employees and informal settler families.

The agreement, led by Quezon City Mayor Ma. Josefina Belmonte and 8990 Housing chair Mariano Martinez Jr., centers on the Urban Deca Homes Commonwealth project, a four-tower development near Batasan Road in Barangay Commonwealth.

Martinez noted that this is 8990’s first collaboration with a local government unit, aiming to foster a more inclusive and empowered Quezon City.
