Insider Spotlight
Mother’s Day continues to be a key revenue driver for hotels and restaurants, particularly in the luxury and upper midscale segments where experiential dining and bundled wellness offerings are becoming central to customer acquisition strategies.
The big picture
Conrad Manila is anchoring its campaign around premium dining experiences, including buffet spreads at Brasserie on 3, an Hermès-inspired afternoon tea at C Lounge, and a lauriat set at Michelin-selected China Blue by Jereme Leung.
Dessert-focused activation “Wonderland Reverie” also returns with over 100 sweet creations.
“At Conrad Manila, we want every mother to feel deeply cherished, especially this Mother’s Day,” Rupert Hallam, general manager of Conrad Manila, said in a press statement.
“We invite families to gather around the table and create meaningful moments together, experiences that every mom will truly treasure.”
Meanwhile, Park Inn by Radisson Clark is highlighting Japanese cuisine through a weekend-long celebration at HUES Restaurant, offering an all-you-can-eat Japanese buffet and a Chef’s Selection Japanese Family Set designed for group dining.
Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo is taking a wellness-first approach through its “Ultimate Mom-cation” package, combining overnight accommodations, dining discounts, massages, and retail perks.
The property is also mounting a Mother’s Day buffet lunch paired with live entertainment and wellness vouchers.
Between the lines
Hotels are increasingly bundling food, wellness, and experiential activities into a single offering to differentiate from standalone restaurant promotions and encourage overnight stays.
Taal Vista Hotel’s “Relax and Recharge Mom” package combines accommodations with spa treatments and buffet dining, while Lanson Place Mall of Asia is adding experiential elements such as floristry workshops and dried floral keepsakes alongside its Mother’s Day buffet at Cyan Modern Kitchen.
