Security Bank, Juan Accounting team up to boost MSME digital shift

To accelerate digital adoption among Filipino entrepreneurs, Security Bank has partnered with Juan Accounting Software to provide micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with an efficient financial management solution.

Through this collaboration, BusinessPlus account holders can enjoy an exclusive 30– to 50- percent discount on their first-month subscription to Juan Accounting’s Essentials Plan.

Juan Accounting is the only fully localized software that integrates accounting and tax compliance for Filipino businesses.

The platform allows users to automate bank feeds, streamline bookkeeping, and improve visibility into cash flow. With built-in tools for BIR filing and digital receipts, it also helps MSMEs meet tax obligations with less effort.

The collaboration marks a major step in Security Bank’s Beyond Banking initiative, which connects business clients to third-party service providers offering legal, HR, analytics, and compliance tools.

“Juan Accounting Software’s expertise and dedication align perfectly with our mission to empower MSMEs,” said John David Yap, SVP and head of business banking at Security Bank. “Together, we’ll ensure they have access to top-notch accounting services so they can focus on growing their businesses.”

Juan Accounting sees the alliance as a way to deepen engagement with entrepreneurs and de-risk SME lending.

“Security Bank’s Beyond Banking initiative is forward-thinking not just in intent but in execution,” said Marvin Galang, Juan Accounting president. “We’re not just offering software—we’re investing in the infrastructure that drives business success.”

As MSMEs face increasing pressure to digitize operations and comply with evolving regulations, this partnership offers them an affordable, accessible entry point to modern financial tools—right from their bank. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
