Tycoon Enrique Razon Jr.’s International Container Terminal Services Inc. has locked in another 26 years at Australia’s largest container port, extending its Melbourne terminal concession to 2066 and removing a key uncertainty over one of its biggest overseas assets.

The extension took effect after all regulatory approvals and contractual conditions were completed on June 25, giving ICTSI’s Victoria International Container Terminal a total 40-year operating term at Webb Dock East.

The longer concession strengthens the group’s foothold in a mature market while supporting long-term cash flow visibility from the Australian business.

Capacity is already being expanded to 1.6 million twenty-foot equivalent units under an investment program scheduled for completion in late 2026.

ICTSI said the extended agreement will not require significant additional capital spending for future capacity expansion beyond the ongoing works.

The terminal is Australia’s first fully automated container facility and can handle larger container ships.
