On Aug, 19, 2025, the facility’s Cold Storage Warehouse was upgraded from AA to AAA, completing its trifecta of top ratings. Its Slaughterhouse was granted AAA status in 2021, followed by the Meat Cutting Plant in 2023.
With this, Tarlac Meatmasters is now the only facility in the country to hold the highest accreditation in all three categories.
The AAA license is reserved for establishments that meet rigorous international food safety standards and are certified under Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols.
These accreditations enable Tarlac Meatmasters to meet the strictest global benchmarks, ensuring its products are ready for both domestic and international markets.
Raising the bar
“We take great pride in Tarlac Meatmasters for achieving this significant milestone,” said Hendel Cabral, Aboitiz Foods first vice president of meat division.
“This reflects the team’s dedication to pursuing shared wins for quality and food safety standards. As the first facility in the Philippines to earn this distinction, we remain committed to maintaining excellence and raising industry standards. With this achievement, our customers can always trust that Tarlac Meatmasters and Pilmico Farms consistently deliver safe and high-quality products,” he added.
Industry leader
Beyond its Triple AAA recognition, Tarlac Meatmasters has secured six HACCP certifications from NMIS.
Since its opening in 2020, the facility has continually invested in advanced pork processing technologies and world-class equipment, cementing its reputation as one of the most modern meat processing hubs in the Philippines.
