The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) has entered into a partnership with SM’s Job Opportunities Building Skills (J.O.B.S.) program to provide upskilling opportunities to thousands of employees from over 800 AmCham member companies.

In a statement, the Sy family-led conglomerate said this initiative allows these companies to participate in SM Job Fairs nationwide, offering a platform to match job opportunities with skilled candidates.

AmCham, established in 1920, has consistently supported the growth of the Philippine economy and the interests of businesses in the region.

Executive director Ebb Hinchliffe highlighted the importance of workforce upskilling for business sustainability, praising SM J.O.B.S. for its effective approach in empowering Filipino workers.
