Insider Spotlight
By supporting the ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) Society of the Philippines (ADHDSP), the company is demonstrating how purpose-built tools can widen access, strengthen community engagement, and advance understanding of neurodiversity.
Driving inclusion with practical tech
Epson Philippines Corp. recently provided the organization with a business projector, two scanners, and a multifunction printer to help enhance its communication materials for advocacy, training, and outreach.
These devices will power educational sessions, family support programs, and collaborations with educators and professionals working with neurodiverse individuals.
Why it matters
The ADHD Society has long been central to raising awareness, acceptance, and support for people with ADHD.
Epson’s technology boosts the group’s capacity to produce more effective resources, run workshops, and reach more communities—particularly those where awareness and access to accurate information remain limited.
“Epson believes that technology should help break barriers and empower people,” Masako Kusama, president and director of Epson Philippines Corp., said in a press release on Nov. 17, 2025.
“Our support for the ADHD Society of the Philippines reflects our shared goal of building a more inclusive society, one that recognizes and celebrates every individual’s potential,” she added.
A broader push for equity and understanding
The partnership aligns with Epson’s ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
The company previously held an internal seminar on neurodiversity featuring advocates from the Philippine Neurodivergent Self Advocates, reinforcing its commitment to building more responsive and empathetic workplaces.
The big picture
Epson’s contributions highlight its long-standing vision of innovation that uplifts communities. Beyond enhancing productivity, its solutions aim to foster creativity, connection, and empowerment—values that are increasingly central to socially responsible technology leadership.
“Our work is rooted in helping individuals with ADHD and their families feel understood, supported, and included. Epson’s contribution allows us to strengthen our outreach and engagement,” said Patis Famador, treasurer of the ADHD Society of the Philippines board of trustees.
What’s next
By continuing to collaborate with organizations that champion accessibility and sustainable progress, Epson positions itself not just as a tech provider but as a partner for social change—an approach that blends innovation with empathy to create lasting community impact. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S.
