Insider Spotlight
U.S.-based tech firm Fastly has launched the Fastly Certified Services Partner Program, a new security-focused certification track aimed at helping partner organizations implement and manage the company’s advanced security solutions for customers worldwide.
Announced in Manila on Nov.13, 2025, the initiative targets technical security professionals seeking deeper skills and differentiation in a tougher threat landscape.
Driving the news
Fastly's new program offers self-guided training that partners can complete at their own pace, culminating in a formal certification.
Graduates gain access to a suite of exclusive resources, including early insights into Fastly’s innovation roadmap, invitations to technical labs and webinars, and unlimited access to future educational content.
“Equipping our partners with advanced training and certification in our security solutions enables them to expand their service portfolios, create new revenue streams, and deliver greater value to their clients, while also providing customers with greater choice and flexibility in how they implement and manage their security infrastructure,” Jeff Alpen, vice president of global partnerships at Fastly, said in a press release on Nov. 18, 2025.
Why it matters
With 72 percent of executives reporting a rise in cyber threats, the demand for trusted security expertise is surging.
Certification is increasingly a key signal of credibility as organizations look for partners that can design and run modern, AI-resilient security architectures around critical web applications and APIs.
Fastly’s program positions partners to capture that demand while reinforcing the company’s global channel strategy.

The program formalizes two designations: participating organizations can become a “Fastly Certified Services Partner,” while individual learners earn recognition as a “Fastly Certified Professional for Security Implementation.”
Customers will be able to choose between Fastly’s own professional services team or a certified local partner to deploy and maintain their Fastly security stack, giving enterprises more flexibility in how they consume edge security and managed services.
What’s next
Fastly frames the new security track as part of a broader, ongoing certification roadmap designed to keep partners current with evolving threats and product capabilities, signaling deeper investment in enablement resources and channel-led growth in the region. —Vanesa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
