After the turnover, all of ABS-CBN’s operating units in Quezon City will be housed in the Eugenio Lopez Communications Center and Gina Lopez Building.
“After turnover of the sold parcel to Ayala Land by mid-2027, all operating units based in Quezon City will hold office in the Eugenio Lopez Communications Center and the Gina Lopez Building,” ABS-CBN head of real estate and development Grant Orbeta told shareholders on Wednesday.
Ayala Land bought roughly three hectares of the iconic ABS-CBN property for P6.24 billion in February 2025, including the Main Building and the site of the 220-meter Millennium Transmitter.
ABS-CBN retained a 1.4-hectare portion of the compound where the ELJ Communications Center is located as it concentrates operations on a smaller footprint.
Ayala Land president and CEO Anna Ma. Margarita “Meean” Dy said last April that redevelopment plans were still being drawn up, with no firm timetable for launching the project.
The Millennium Transmitter also remains standing after ABS-CBN employees, artists and executives held its final ceremonial lighting in July 2025.
One part of ABS-CBN’s consolidation is still being worked out, with Orbeta saying “extra parking for fleet vehicles is still being studied to consider the most economical option.”
