Converge rebrands to signal shift from fiber giant to full-scale tech company

Converge ICT Solutions Inc., the Philippines’ largest pure fiber internet provider, is preparing for major strategic moves as it repositions itself from a broadband giant to a full-fledged technology company.

The company unveiled a refreshed corporate identity at its mid-year townhall, signaling a milestone in its evolution from a traditional telecom player into a digital-first, solutions-driven techco.

“This new corporate identity was created with the future in mind,” said Converge president and co-founder Maria Grace Uy

“We’re at an inflection point in our journey – from simply connecting people through fiber broadband to delivering digital-first, value-added solutions,” Uy said.

“Our transformation into a full-fledged techco is well underway, and this refreshed identity captures that momentum. It represents our charge to go from fiber to the future, a future where technology and humanity converge,” she added.

Succession moves

The move comes amid succession moves within its leadership.

Last July 1, Benjamin Azada was named chief operations officer, with Atty. Laurice Esteban-Tuason taking over sustainability and compliance roles.

Christine Renee Blabagno was appointed chief risk officer, while John Paul Aguilar now heads the consumer and SME segment.

“The future really looks exciting and brighter for Converge,” said Azada.

Updated mission statement

“With a fresh vision and broader mission, we are charging ahead with this new brand identity but at the heart of it all is really our commitment to leave no one behind in this digital age, to make sure that technology serves humanity,” Azada added.

Converge also updated its mission and core values to support its broader technology focus, centered on inclusivity, customer centricity, innovation, and digital empowerment.

Growth beyond telco services

The company’s redesigned logo features three upward swooshes forming the letter “C,” each symbolizing connectivity, intelligence, and experience.

“The strands convey movement, energy, and growth – mirroring our mission to go beyond building networks to enriching lives and enabling dreams,” said Converge CEO Dennis Anthony Uy

“It’s a visual representation for how we’re leaping into the future – together with our customers, partners, and communities. It captures our desire to power the digital journeys of tomorrow,” he added.
