The San Diego Spirits Festival, now in its 15th year, is a major “Cocktail Cultural” event aimed at advancing the spirits industry. Tanduay’s win highlights its commitment to producing world-class rums from the Philippines.
“This award signifies the dedication and hard work that goes into making Tanduay rums. From the selection of quality heirloom sugarcane to its aging and packaging -- we make sure that we give our customers only the best products from the Philippines,” said Roy Kristoffer Sumang, Tanduay international business development manager.
Tanduay Asian Rum Silver, known for its smoothness, is aged for up to five years in bourbon barrels, offering a flavor profile of green ripe fruits, burnt sugar, mandarin, and vanilla. It can be enjoyed straight or in cocktails.
Sumang expressed gratitude for the recognition, particularly as Tanduay celebrates its 170th anniversary this year.
Founded in 1854, Tanduay has grown from a small distillery in Luzon to an international brand, with presence in North and South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
