Tycoon Edgar Saavedra’s property arm PH1 World Developers (PH1WD), the developer of My Enso Lofts in Quezon City, held a groundbreaking event for a mid-rise condominium development in Imus City, Cavite.
The project is being undertaken via the “Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program” to address the 6.5 million unit housing backlog.
The project will include five towers with 1,100 units on a 1.3-hectare property near the New Imus City Hall, said Megawide Construction Corp., the owner of PH1WD.
PH1WD will oversee the development while Megawide will handle construction, it added.
“Public-private sector collaboration of these kinds are very encouraging, especially those focusing on underserved segments, such as housing,” said Eric Gregor Tan, PH1WD general manager for horizontal development.
“We believe that this residential development will benefit both Imuseños in the immediate locality and potential residents from Southern Tagalog and Metro Manila,” he added.
