The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is making strides in addressing the Philippines' housing shortage through its Pabahay sa Bagong Bayaning Manggagawa (PBBM) program, revealing a portfolio of over 12,335 foreclosed properties nationwide.

GSIS president Wick Veloso highlighted the program's success during a stakeholder meeting in Antipolo, noting the approval of over 2,000 housing applications.

The initiative offers residential properties under various schemes, including Lease with Option to Buy, to provide affordable housing solutions.

The event also recognized the contributions of government agencies and awarded land titles to five beneficiaries, underscoring GSIS's commitment to securing government employees' futures and contributing to the national housing effort.
