The two parties formalized a memorandum of agreement covering the Senior Citizens' Park and Pet Park at Plaza Azul, which will provide residents with a shared space for recreation, social activities and exercise.
Under the agreement, RLC provided park installations and specialized amenities for pets to make the area accessible to senior citizens, families, pet owners and their animal companions.
Shared space
RLC president and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio said the project was intended to create an inclusive community space while promoting wellness and responsible pet ownership.

Our partnership with the MMDA for the Plaza Azul Senior Citizens' Park and Pet Park reflects our commitment to promoting wellness, fostering responsible pet ownership, and creating environments where both residents and their pets can enjoy meaningful experiences together,” Aragon-GoBio said.
The company said the project is aligned with its pet advocacy program, which promotes responsible pet ownership and supports pet adoption initiatives.
The program also involves cooperation with local government units and animal welfare organizations on initiatives for stray and rescued animals.
Pet advocacy
RLC said investments in pet-friendly facilities are intended to provide communities with places where residents and their pets can spend time together while encouraging responsible pet care.
The Plaza Azul project also forms part of the property developer's broader efforts to develop public spaces through partnerships with government and community stakeholders.
