The SEC is making business setup easier with a new online tool that lets users practice registering a company before filing for real.

The free Company Registration Simulation, housed inside the SEC Academy portal, walks entrepreneurs through every step of eSPARC without risk of errors affecting actual applications.

Users can test requirements, practice filling out forms, and get familiar with the online process ahead of time.

Fewer errors, faster approvals

By filtering out incomplete and incorrect filings early, the SEC expects smoother processing and less congestion in the main registration system.

The tool also mirrors features such as digital document authentication through eSAP, removing the need for wet-ink physical submissions.

Applicants may even receive a tentative fee estimate based on planned capital, helping them prepare paperwork and payments in advance.

Full coverage, fully online

The simulation covers one-person corporations, domestic and foreign entities, stock and non-stock structures, plus branches, rep offices, and regional headquarters.

It forms part of the broader SEC Academy push to make business knowledge, registration, and financial education widely accessible online.
