Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC), the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, has been granted Original Proponent Status (OPS) for its proposal to develop a new bulk water supply project in Iloilo City and province.
The Metro Pacific Investments Corp.-controlled firm said the pipeline replacement projects covered key areas across Metro Manila, including Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Pasay, Makati, Quezon City, and Caloocan.
The system is designed to trap floating waste—particularly plastic—before it flows into the ocean. It is expected to divert around 97,000 kilograms of waste per year, including over 13,000 kilograms of plastic.
