“The pilot is in active duty in PAL and may have been the victim of identity theft,” Philippine Airlines COO Carlu Fernandez said in a mobile phone message to InsiderPH.
He said the airline has already contacted the Thai news organization that published the report to seek a correction and prevent the further spread of misinformation.
