In a Nov. 2, 2026 disclosure, the company said its 680-room property in Spain recorded average occupancy of 97.41 percent during the month, translating to approximately 662 occupied rooms daily.
The October performance marked the hotel's highest monthly revenue since opening in March 2026, strengthening DoubleDragon's push to expand its Philippine-developed hospitality brand internationally.
Strong international demand
Located in Madrid's Valdebebas district, Hotel101-Madrid benefits from its proximity to Madrid-Barajas International Airport, the IFEMA exhibition center and major sporting venues.
Since opening, the hotel has welcomed more than 95,500 guests representing over 100 nationalities. Spanish travelers accounted for 39 percent of arrivals, followed by Americans at seven percent and Portuguese at four percent.
The property also secured a 9.1 rating from more than 9,700 online travel reviews as of October 31, according to the company.
Asset-light expansion
Hotel101 operates a condotel model that generates income from selling standardized hotel units and recurring revenues from hotel operations.
Under the arrangement, unit owners collectively receive 30 percent of monthly gross room revenues, net of applicable taxes and statutory charges, distributed equally among units.
The Madrid property's performance comes as DoubleDragon reported a 143.65-percent increase in core revenues to P20.78 billion during the first nine months of 2026.
Core net income surged 253.59 percent to P3.91 billion over the same period.
What's next
Hotel101 Global, DoubleDragon's Nasdaq-listed subsidiary, plans to open its next international property in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan, in December 2026.
The company intends to replicate its operating model through joint ventures and eventual licensing arrangements.
Its long-term ambition is to establish one million standardized hotel rooms across 100 countries, positioning Hotel101 as a global hospitality brand originating from the Philippines.
