GoTyme Bank is strengthening its international remittance business with a holiday campaign offering overseas Filipinos and their families a chance to win round-trip flights to the Philippines.

The digital bank launched its “It’s Tyme to Be Together” campaign alongside Cebu Pacific and global remittance provider TapTap Send as it promotes its inward and outward international money transfer services.

Five grand prize winners will each receive round-trip economy flights for themselves and a companion, along with other prizes for their homecoming.

The raffle runs from Sept. 16 to Nov. 30, 2026 and is open to eligible GoTyme Bank customers who opt in to the promotion.

Customers automatically earn one raffle entry for every qualifying international remittance of at least P5,000 sent or received directly through the GoTyme Bank app.

GoTyme Bank president and CEO Nate Clarke said the campaign was designed to connect the financial needs of overseas Filipinos with their desire to spend time with their families.

“Banking should do more than just move money—it should bring people closer to the things and the people that matter most,” Clarke said.

“For Filipinos abroad, every remittance carries hard work, sacrifice, and love,” he added.

Cebu Pacific is serving as the campaign's official airline partner, while TapTap Send is supporting its international remittance component.

Cebu Pacific marketing director Michelle Eve De Guzman said the airline hoped to help more Filipinos reunite with their families during the holidays.

“Whether they are coming from Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, UAE, or Saudi Arabia, we are committed to flying more Filipinos closer to their families and loved ones,” De Guzman said.

Cross-border transfers

Beyond the raffle, GoTyme Bank is positioning its international remittance services as a simpler way for customers to move and manage money across borders.

Customers can initiate international transfers through the GoTyme Bank app, which displays the applicable fees, exchange rate, estimated arrival time and expected amount to be received before a transaction is confirmed.

Its Send Money Abroad service allows customers to transfer funds to more than 200 countries and territories in eight currencies: Australian dollar, Chinese yuan, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, South Korean won, Singapore dollar and US dollar.

For inward remittances, overseas Filipinos can send money directly to a recipient's GoTyme Bank account through an international bank using SWIFT, supported remittance companies such as TapTap Send, or participating Visa partners.

GoTyme Bank said its SWIFT transfer service is powered by Wise.

One account

The digital bank is also seeking to distinguish its remittance service by allowing customers to manage incoming funds without having to visit a branch or cash pickup location.

Once money is credited to a GoTyme Bank account, customers can save or spend it, pay bills or transfer the funds to another account through the same app.

The bank said this provides customers with a single platform for receiving, sending and managing international funds.

The campaign comes as banks, fintech companies and other financial services providers compete for a larger share of the remittance market by making cross-border transactions faster and more convenient.

For GoTyme Bank, the promotion also gives it an opportunity to draw more customers to its international transfer services during the holiday season, when overseas Filipinos traditionally send money home or return to the Philippines to spend time with their families.
