Insider Spotlight
The Palawan Group of Companies is highlighting the importance of fast and reliable remittance services through its new “There Na” campaign, reinforcing how families can receive support quickly and securely through its expanding network and digital platforms.
Why it matters
The company is positioning Palawan Express Pera Padala and the PalawanPay app as dependable channels for international remittances, supported by more than 45 global remittance partners.
Funds can be received through thousands of Palawan branches nationwide or digitally via the mobile app, allowing families to access money anytime and anywhere without complicated processes.
The approach combines physical reach with digital convenience, ensuring OFW families can claim funds quickly when support arrives from abroad.
The big picture
The campaign’s commercial brings the message to life by showing real scenarios faced by overseas Filipino workers sending support home. In one scene, a construction worker in Dubai sends his son’s school allowance to Luzon.
A seafarer in Alaska transfers funds to her wife in the Visayas, while workers in Hong Kong send financial help to their families, emphasizing that distance is no longer a barrier when remittance services are reliable and accessible.
Adding star power to the campaign is Marian Rivera, long associated with the iconic Filipino superhero Darna. In the commercial, Rivera appears in Cavite receiving a gift sent by her grandfather from Spain, illustrating how international remittances can be claimed quickly and securely.
What they’re saying
Karlo M. Castro, Palawan Group president and CEO, shared, “This campaign is our way of honoring the sacrifices of our kababayans abroad. OFWs are real heroes, working tirelessly, often from thousands of miles away, to provide for their families. Every peso they send carries their love, hope, and dreams, and we want to make sure it reaches home safely, quickly, and with peace of mind.”
Rivera said the campaign connects her experiences with the realities faced by Filipino families: “I always stepped in to help those in need on screen, and this campaign brings that same energy to real life, helping families receive support quickly and safely.” —Vanessa Hidalgo | Corrie S. Narisma
