Globe wins big at MWC 2025 for network consistency, AI innovation

Globe reaffirmed its leadership in digital connectivity and innovation after receiving major accolades at the recently held Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, the world’s largest and most influential connectivity event.

The company was recognized by Ookla with the Speedtest Verified claim for the Most Consistent Network in the Philippines from 2022 to 2024. Based on real-world data from user-initiated Speedtest results, this recognition highlights Globe’s reliability in delivering seamless and dependable digital experiences to Filipinos nationwide.

“The Speedtest Verified claim from Ookla is a testament to our relentless effort to ensure that Filipinos have access to stable and high-quality internet services,” said Joel Agustin, Globe’s head of service planning and engineering.

In addition, Globe received the Excellent All-Optical Network for AI Enablement award at the Green All-Optical Network Forum 2025 during MWC. This award underscores the company’s advancements in optical network infrastructure that supports seamless AI applications and efficient computing resource access.

Globe has deployed cutting-edge 400G/800G transmission, all-optical switching, and Optical Transport Network (OTN) expansion to power its AI-ready infrastructure, aligning with green technology goals for improved energy efficiency.
