Globe Telecom is accelerating its 5G rollout in Davao City, the Philippines’ third most populous city with more than 1.8 million residents.

New cell sites have gone live across key growth areas—including Catalunan Grande, Manambulan, Talomo, Lizada, Sto. Niño, 30-C, 15-B, and Ladislawa Buhangin—to meet rising connectivity needs.

The upgrades aim to deliver faster, more reliable internet for homes, schools, and small businesses powering the city’s expanding digital economy.

Globe said the network boost supports e-learning, e-commerce, and digital payments, helping communities stay connected across urban districts and nearby hubs like Mount Apo and Samal Island.
