The program targets women-led small and medium enterprises as Global Dominion seeks to address financing barriers faced by female business owners. The company said women-led MSMEs account for an estimated 66 percent of Philippine MSMEs, while only around 4 percent have formal financing access.
Changing the narrative
GLOW consolidates Global Dominion’s existing support for women-led businesses into a dedicated program designed around their financing needs and entrepreneurial challenges.
"Women have always been the backbone of so many Filipino businesses and households, yet too many have had to grow without the financial support they deserve. GLOW is our way of changing that narrative," Global Dominion president and CEO Samuel Cariño said in a press statement.
"This is more than a loan product. It's a commitment to walk alongside every Filipina entrepreneur we serve, because growth is never a solo climb — it takes a community to GLOW," he added.
The details
GLOW Loan is open to sole proprietors, partnerships with at least one woman partner, and corporations where a woman is a director, stockholder or authorized representative. Financing may be used for additional capital, vehicle or lot purchases, equipment and business expansion.
The product may also consider employment income or remittances alongside business revenue for established businesses. In certain cases, spouses, common-law partners or immediate family members may participate as co-borrowers, potentially widening eligibility for women facing collateral or ownership-documentation constraints.
Beyond financing
The GLOW Community is open to aspiring entrepreneurs, current and former Global Dominion clients, and women seeking development in business, leadership, career or personal growth. Members can access workshops, networking opportunities, mentorship, promotions and community activities.
"We built GLOW around how women actually run their businesses, and around the belief that access to capital should come with access to community," Global Dominion enterprise division general manager Eleanor Yap said. "That's the promise we're making, and one we intend to keep,” she added.
