Why it matters

The partnership expands housing choices for Filipino families while providing a financing pathway to homeownership through Pag-IBIG Fund.

Federal Land president Jose Mari Banzon welcomed the company's accreditation with Pag-IBIG Fund and announced plans to establish a dedicated business unit to process housing loan applications.

“I’d like to congratulate DHSUD and PAGIBIG Fund for the success of the Expanded 4PH Program. It does not only help homeowners but developers as well. Federal Land is committed to work with DHSUD and PAGIBIG Fund to allow Filipino families to achieve their dream of owning their own home,” Banzon said.

The bigger picture

The collaboration underscores the government's strategy of engaging private developers to broaden access to affordable housing and strengthen the Expanded 4PH Program.

Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta emphasized that affordability remains essential in helping more Filipinos become homeowners.

“While finding the right home is important, making it affordable matters just as much. This is why we are pleased to further strengthen our partnership with Federal Land today. We look forward to seeing this agreement translate into more housing choices, better value, and meaningful opportunities for our members to become homeowners,” Acosta said.
