Enderun Colleges president Jun Salipsip said community engagement plays a critical role in shaping students' character and worldview.
"Serving the community teaches students to think beyond themselves. Helping others (through time, effort, and even personal sacrifice) cultivates humility and gives a different perspective in life," Salipsip said.
The partnership is expected to strengthen Enderun's experiential learning model by connecting students with real-world social impact initiatives while supporting communities in need, the college said in a release.

Salipsip said volunteer work enables students to better understand realities outside the classroom, helping develop not only professional competencies but also empathy and social awareness.
Known for its industry-focused programs and emphasis on experiential learning, Enderun continues to integrate volunteerism into student life as part of its efforts to produce graduates who are academically prepared and socially conscious.
The partnership agreement was signed by GMAKF EVP/COO Rikki Escudero-Catibog, Salipsip, and Enderun head for Social Orientation and Community Development and NSTP Rose Chu. Representatives from both organizations attended the signing ceremony.

Salipsip said the collaboration brings together the complementary strengths of both institutions.
"GMA Kapuso Foundation is excellent at connecting with communities, while Enderun is strong in developing students through new concepts, ideas, and learning experiences. Combining these strengths creates the perfect balance between theory and practical application," Salipsip said.
He added that the partnership will enhance the college's existing outreach initiatives.
"We are already doing community work and outreach. By partnering with an organization that already has the infrastructure and systems in place, our efforts can become more effective, organized, and far-reaching," he said.
As students prepare to participate in the foundation's humanitarian activities, the partnership marks another step in encouraging young Filipinos to lead with purpose and contribute to nation-building.
