Davao-based tycoon Dennis A. Uy’s DITO CME Holdings Corp. is set to finalize the price of its upcoming share offer on Sept. 23, with the aim of raising between P1.95 billion and P4.2 billion.

On Thursday, the Philippine Stock Exchange approved the capital-raising exercise, which will allow the offer to run from Sept. 26 through Oct. 2 this year.

The shares will be listed on the PSE on Oct. 10, a regulatory filing showed.

DITO CME, owner of DITO Telecommunity, a venture with China Telecom, is raising funds to bankroll its ongoing network rollout.

This is among a series of equity deals the company aims to undertake to help plug a capital shortfall worth about P44 billion.

For this upcoming offer, BDO Capital & Investment Corp. was hired as sole issue manager, underwriter, and bookrunner.
