The investment round was co-led by True Global Ventures (TGV) and Accel, with participation from Kickstart Ventures, bringing Sprouts.ai's total funding to $14 million.
The Palo Alto-based company develops AI-powered software that helps businesses identify potential customers, manage sales activities, and close deals more efficiently.
The big picture
The fresh capital will be used to improve the company's AI capabilities, connect its platform with more business software, and support expansion.
Information shared in a company release said many companies still struggle with incomplete customer information, disconnected business systems, and inaccurate customer databases, making it harder for sales and marketing teams to work together effectively.
"The B2B revenue stack is broken. Sales and marketing teams operate across more than 20 tools, work off dirty data, and bolt AI on top of infrastructure that was never built for it. We built Sprouts.ai to replace that fragmentation with a unified data and agent layer that actually moves the pipeline,” Sprouts.ai co-founder and CEO Karan Chaudhry said.
Why it matters
The company said these challenges are also common in the Philippines, where businesses continue to modernize their operations but often lack a complete view of their customers because information is scattered across different systems.
Sprouts.ai brings customer information, sales insights, and AI-powered automation into one platform. It works with widely used business software such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, allowing companies to reduce manual tasks and make better-informed sales decisions.
“We’re entering an age where the businesses that win will be the ones who truly understand who their customers are. Sprouts.ai gives enterprises exactly that — a level of insight into other businesses that simply wasn’t possible before,” Kickstart Ventures general partner Joan Yao said.
“As AI agents take on more of the work of finding, understanding, and engaging the right customers, that data advantage is what will set Sprouts.ai apart,” Yao said.Sprouts.ai's customers include Razorpay, Hewlett Packard, HighRadius, and Udemy. The company said businesses using its platform have seen three times more qualified sales leads, a 25 percent increase in sales-ready prospects, higher customer response rates, and lower spending on sales and marketing software. —Princess Daisy C.
