Through this collaboration, CVM Pawnshop is now a BPI Partner Store, allowing customers to apply for BPI products, make deposits, and withdraw cash across its 200+ branches nationwide.
A contract signing ceremony was held on Feb. 5, 2025, where executives from both BPI and CVM Pawnshop officially launched the partnership.
“May BPI Dito”
“This partnership with CVM Pawnshop is an exciting step forward in providing our customers with more touchpoints to manage their financial needs,” said Rally Jereza, head of BPI Agency Banking.
He said customers can now perform essential banking transactions alongside CVM Pawnshop’s core services, such as bill payments, remittances, and pawning.
The initiative falls under BPI’s “May BPI Dito” program, which aims to integrate banking services into trusted local businesses, making financial services more accessible—especially in areas with limited banking options.
Convenient and cost-effective banking
BPI account holders can now enjoy free over-the-counter withdrawals and deposits at any participating CVM Pawnshop branch, eliminating the need to visit ATMs that charge extra fees.
With CVM Pawnshop’s extensive network and strong presence in local communities, this partnership ensures that more Filipinos enjoy secure and seamless banking services, said Paul Cancio V, president and COO of CVM Pawnshop.
Beyond convenience
Cancio said this collaboration is more than just about convenience—it’s about CVM Pawnshop’s core purpose of bridging hope and prosperity for Filipinos.
“This initiative enhances our service offerings while reinforcing our role as a reliable partner in community development,” he added.
By leveraging CVM Pawnshop’s extensive reach, BPI continues to drive financial inclusion, ensuring that more Filipinos have seamless and secure banking access close to home. — Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
