Held in partnership with Barangay Talipapa, the launch event gathered about 350 participants who joined a variety of physical activities, including zumba, arnis, frisbee, badminton, jogging, and biking. The event aimed to encourage an active lifestyle among residents and visitors in the surrounding communities.
The Junction Place Fitness Movement is part of a broader effort to promote holistic wellness and foster community engagement through regular, accessible fitness sessions. Organizers said the initiative will continue on weekends, providing a consistent venue for health-focused activities in a secure and open environment.
Situated along Quirino Highway in Barangay Talipapa, Novaliches, The Junction Place spans 10.8 hectares and combines residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. Its open spaces and strategic location make it an ideal setting for outdoor wellness programs, developers said.
Following the success of the launch, Ayala Land and its partners plan to expand the program’s offerings to include more activities and participants in the coming months.
“The turnout reflects the community’s growing interest in health and fitness,” a representative from The Junction Place said in a statement. “We’re excited to build on this momentum and make wellness a part of everyday life for more people.” — Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
