Polarity bets on physio-led wellness as premium care demand grows

Insider Spotlight

  • Polarity Wellness Club is positioning physiotherapy as the foundation of a broader wellness model that combines recovery, movement, and lifestyle planning
  • The company showcased its integrated wellness concept ahead of the opening of its second branch in Makati
  • Management says demand is rising for premium, evidence-based care that blends clinical expertise with wellness experiences

Consumers are increasingly seeking wellness offerings backed by clinical expertise rather than standalone fitness or spa services, prompting providers to integrate recovery, movement, and preventive care under one roof.

Polarity Wellness Club is betting this approach will resonate with health-conscious Filipinos looking for evidence-based wellness solutions.

Why it matters

The company on July 22 hosted an exclusive preview of its Makati facility located in M1 Tower for members of the media, wellness advocates, content creators, partners, and other guests ahead of its official rollout.

The event marked the introduction of its second branch and highlighted its integrated approach to wellness, recovery, movement, and mindful living.

The details

Founded by the team behind Kinetix and Polarity Physiotherapy Center, the wellness club offers an integrated experience of science-backed recovery and movement-based rehabilitation.

The club combines physiotherapy, recovery services, strength development, and wellness planning in a single destination, with an assessment-led, evidence-based approach designed to support holistic well-being.

What they're saying

Polarity Wellness Club brand supervisor Andrea Benitez said during the media tour that the company aims to establish “the first brand that connects recovery, strength development, and wellness planning, combining clinical expertise with elevated experience, and validating the demand for premium care that doesn't compromise on either front."

“Today's preview reflects our commitment to creating more than just a wellness facility—we're building a community where individuals can prioritize their health, find balance, and embrace a more intentional lifestyle," Polarity Wellness Club physiotherapy department associate manager Dr. Fahim Pasha said in a press statement.

Between the lines

Beyond physiotherapy and pain management, the club's offerings include scoliosis and back pain programs, geriatric care, recovery modalities such as infrared sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy, compression boots, and mental wellness integration.

Its approach begins with assessing the body before recommending treatment or wellness interventions.

Bottom line

As competition in the wellness sector expands, providers are increasingly differentiating themselves through clinically guided services and integrated care models, with Polarity seeking to capture demand for premium wellness experiences anchored on physiotherapy rather than traditional fitness or spa concepts.

Polarity Wellness Club's first branch is located on the fourth floor of The Podium in the Ortigas Business District. Wellness packages start at P15,000, while the standard annual membership fee is P1,500.  —Vanessa Hidalgo| Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
