The food, drinks, energy and infrastructure giant ranked No. 85, the second highest among Philippine firms, while Petron secured No. 216 and GSMI landed at No. 345.
The ranking evaluated companies based on employee satisfaction, financial strength, and sustainability transparency—key markers of long-term viability and ethical leadership.
“This recognition sets the stage for an even stronger 2025. It continues to prove that Filipino companies can compete on the global stage and make meaningful impact beyond business,” said SMC chair and CEO Ramon S. Ang.
SMC’s recognition adds to its global accolades, including TIME’s World’s Best Companies (No. 463) and Forbes’ Best Employers (No. 89) in 2024.
It champions nation-building through major projects in infrastructure, energy, and sustainability. Its "Better Rivers PH" project cleared over 8 million tons of waste from Luzon’s rivers, while expressways and airports boost connectivity.
SMC also supports food security through farmer partnerships and runs "Better World" centers to tackle hunger, education, and healthcare gaps.
